The lullaby (virtually identical with the Tolmie version) is also in Dorothy Berliner Commins' Lullabies of the World (Random House, 1967, p. 90) as "Sleep, Sleep, My Child." The translation given is:
Sleep, sleep, my child.
Sleep, sleep, my child,
And may, oh may the men return
Who have gone across the seas!
